Higher Education: Applications are open for competitive scholarships offered by Latvia for master’s programmes

Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stressed the importance of partnership programs and agreements with countries of the world that have distinguished experiences in university education, as they contribute to providing educational opportunities that refine the academic skills of Egyptian researchers in accordance with the best international standards. He pointed out the importance of exchanging scientific and research experiences between Egyptian and international universities, explaining that the coming period will witness more cooperation in various educational programs, and an increase in partnerships in scientific and research fields of common interest with a number of prestigious international universities.

In this regard, Context: The Central Administration of Scholarships in the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the opening of applications for scholarships offered by the Republic of Latvia to study the joint master’s program “Service Design and Creativity Strategies,” offered by the Latvian Academy of Arts. In cooperation with the University of Finnish Lapland and the Academy of Tropical Letters, within the framework of the Erasmus Plus program, this announcement comes in accordance with the executive program for the academic year 2024/2025.

The program annually receives about 30 international students, with scholarships allocated to 20 students from the program Erasmus Mundus, including 5 scholarships directed to students from the NDICI region.

The applicant is required to have a bachelor’s degree. Or a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: (Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Journalism and Media, Business Administration, Law).

Applications for the program are open annually until mid-February, going through multiple selection stages that include selecting candidates and conducting interviews. Personality via visual media during the month of April.

The final results will be announced later, and the study will begin in September of each year.
