The lady of Arabic singing, Umm Kulthum, was born and lived in the village of Tamai Al-Zahayra, affiliated with the Sinbillawin Center in Dakahlia Governorate, where she began her life by memorizing the Qur’an at the hands of one of the sheikhs in the city of Sinbillawin, which had the greatest impact on shaping Umm Kulthum’s letters, which helped a lot in controlling her voice and mastering pronunciation. With the correct words, the lady’s singing talent emerged while working with her father, Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Beltagy, who worked as a singer at birthdays. Singing many nights in the area and surrounding areas.

The singing lady lived in the house built by her father, Sheikh Ibrahim, for 15 years. She moved to live in Cairo and began her journey of fame, and she became a frequenter of the village.

Until now, many visitors from all countries of the world come to visit Umm Kulthum’s house, and see the house in which the lady of Arabic singing was born and the village in which she lived.

A decision was issued by President Sisi to reconvert the home of Arab singer Umm Kulthum in Sinbellaween into a museum containing her possessions, in honor of Kawkab Al-Sharq, which deserves its history and its impact on Egyptian and Arab art.
