Hell freezes over! Their feud was the talk of Sydney – but these two frenemies were joined at the hip at THAT society wedding. Here’s what changed – and it’s an all too familiar story…

A ‘nude artist’ and an ‘eyebrow queen’ walk into a wedding…

It sounds like a joke – but there’s no punchline. In fact, anyone clued into the drama within Sydney’s elite social scene would half expect sparks to fly.

You see, the eyebrow queen, Kristin Fisher, and the nude artist, Dina Broadhurst, haven’t been getting along well lately, to put it delicately.

About eight months ago, the two women, both fixtures of the eastern suburbs socialite set, reportedly had an almighty falling-out that sent shockwaves through their friendship group.

It’s an all too familiar story: the Double Bay salon owner, 39, and the renowned art collector, 46, supposedly went to war over a man. In the wake of their feud, the once-inseparable duo stopped attending the same events and maintained an icy wall of silence.

So onlookers were surprised to see Kristin and Dina smiling, laughing and joined at the hip once more as they attended the ritzy wedding of Pilates instructor Bernadette Fahey and property developer Jordan Sukkar in the leafy grounds of Scots College on Saturday.

What happened, I hear you ask?

Well, Dina is suddenly single again – having broken up with her boyfriend, the appliances heir John Winning Jr, the morning of the wedding.

Without a man driving a wedge between them, the two ladies seemed all too happy to let bygones be bygones as they sipped champagne and posed for selfies in the bathroom like the previous eight months of hostility had been nothing but a bad dream.

While it’s impossible to know what they talked about, you can hazard a guess they discussed more than just their revealing outfits.

Dina had begun dating John Jr back in March and went public with their romance in May. Only weeks later it was reported her friendship with Kristin had abruptly ended.

In the lead-up to their rift, the two women were single and attending many of the same events together. But after their falling-out, they kept their distance for months.

But whatever happened between them seems to be water under the bridge. Not only did our snapper spy them laughing and chatting at the wedding, but they also formalised the end of their rift by hitting the bathroom for a series of Instagram selfies.

Dina turned heads at the star-studded event in a sheer red dress, with a G-string-inspired under-layer showing off her bottom while a thigh split served plenty of leg.

Meanwhile, Kristin put on a very busty display in a dark green silk dress, both plunging and backless, complete with daring cut-outs on the sides.

As for her break-up with John Jr, sources told Daily Mail Australia that Dina eventually came to the realisation their lifestyles were not compatible after eight months together.

They appear to have confirmed their split by unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Dina and John Jr, the son of appliances mogul John Winning Snr whose family is worth an estimated $700million, had confirmed their romance earlier this year when they attended a rave in California together. 

She ‘soft-launched’ him by featuring him in one of her social media posts.

At the time, the pair was said to be ‘smitten’ with each other. However, sources say Dina has grown out of her relationship with the fun-loving businessman.

John took over as CEO of Winning Appliances in 2011 at the age of 22 and steered the business in a new direction with Appliances Online, which is now Australia’s largest online retailer for appliances.

The family business was started by his great-grandfather Richard William Winning in 1906 with the trading name R.W. Winning & Co and has become a leading kitchen and laundry appliance specialist.

As well as running Winning Appliances, John is also an experienced sailor who won line honours with his crew on board Andoo Comanche in the 2022 Sydney to Hobart yacht race.

The skipper sailed the race alongside his father John Winning Sr, who previously won the Sydney to Hobart line honours back in 1976.

In his spare time, John is an adrenaline fiend with a love for skydiving. He is also a DJ and has performed for crowds on lavish yachts, in Ibiza nightclubs and even at Glastonbury.

John reportedly lives in an eclectic Surry Hills bachelor pad featuring its own private nightclub, a see-through smoking room and a swimming pool.

Dina was previously in a relationship with Max Shepherd, 31, but it emerged in June 2023 they had parted ways after four-and-a-half years together.

Following the break-up, the socialite was briefly linked to property investor Tony Benjamin before taking up with John Jr.
