Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said: The medical services provided in South Sinai Governorate hospitals included reception, inpatient, care, nursery, and operations departments. The outpatient clinics provided 98,461 medical services, while the evening clinics provided 31,851 services in various medical specialties, through Al-Tur General Hospital ( Al-Zahraa), Abu Dis Central, and Dahab Central, noting that the medical convoys provided 33,510 medical services through 60 A convoy of various specialties was implemented during the past year to provide all means of health care to the places most in need.

Al-Shinhab said that continuing medical education is one of the directorate’s most important priorities, as all employees participated. As part of the efforts of the food control teams, “Al-Shinhab” confirmed 5,179 food facilities were visited, and 41,000 kilograms of food and 64 liters of spoiled drinks were destroyed, and it was recommended to close 14 facilities that were dangerous and polluted and did not meet health requirements.
The community awareness and communication teams and rural women pioneers also succeeded in providing the necessary awareness to citizens, as they provided 730,123 awareness services for citizens, to introduce them to the services provided by public health initiatives, hospital services, and health units, and to provide the most important health instructions for preventing infectious diseases and how to follow a healthy lifestyle.
