Health closes 13 hospitals, analysis laboratories, and radiology centers in Menoufia and Sharqia for violating licenses

Warning other health facilities to avoid violations within a maximum period of 30 days

 

‏‎The Ministry of Health and Population completed the third phase of the field traffic campaign on medical facilities in all Governorates, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, in an effort to communicate directly with citizens, raise the efficiency of medical facilities, provide quality health service, and monitor any shortcomings in The level of medical service, and taking corrective measures on the job.

 

‏‎Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the third phase of the field traffic campaign targeted… Menoufia and Sharkia governorates, and a committee was formed from the central administration of non-governmental treatment institutions, licenses and free treatment in the two governorates, which visited 12 private analysis laboratories, 11 private hospitals, 22 private clinics, and 2 A specialized clinic and 5 medical centers to ensure that they meet the health requirements and necessary licenses.

 

For his part, Dr. Hisham Zaki, Head of the Central Administration for Non-Governmental Treatment Institutions and Licensing, pointed out that the Licensing Committee Free Treatment in Menoufia Governorate issued immediate decisions in order to ensure the health and safety of patients and to provide safe medical services, as both “Al-Safwa Laboratory and Al-Sahwa Laboratory” were closed. “Al-Safwa Radiology Center”, while the “Quality and Delta” laboratories were alerted. For medical tests, and the Bella Dermatology and Laser Center to avoid violations in a maximum period of 15 days.

Fatima Al-Kaaki and Al-Hayat Hospital, the operating rooms on the second and fifth floors of Salma Specialized Hospital, and the operating suite at Misr Al-Hayat Specialized Hospital were also closed. For violating licensing requirements, Al-Safa Hospital for Women and Obstetrics and Al-Hussam Specialized Hospital were warned to avoid violations within a period of time. Not exceeding 30 days.

 

Zaki continued that the Licensing and Free Treatment Committee in Sharkia Governorate issued closure decisions for the Corlab laboratory, the Portolab medical analysis laboratory, and the Reaya laboratory. For medical tests, the Lab Clinic laboratory, the Cairo Lab laboratory, the Al-Hayat laboratory, and the Al-Borg laboratory for medical and chemical analyses, and the Hospital was closed. Salah Marzouk and an operating room at Taha Yass Specialized Hospital, and the fourth and seventh floors of Al-Jalal Specialized Hospital, while “Al-Montazah and Hamida” hospitals were warned to avoid violations within a period not exceeding 30 days, noting that 4 private clinics were closed and 7 others were warned for a period not exceeding 30 days. More than 15 days to avoid violations in the two governorates.

Zaki said, The violations monitored by the committee varied between (non-compliance with licensing requirements, failure to implement infection control policies, and the presence of unqualified workers), stressing the Ministry’s keenness to tighten control over private medical facilities to ensure that they meet health requirements, that the facility and its employees obtain the necessary licenses, and apply standards. Infection control, reviewing the validity of medicines, and taking all legal measures against violations detected during Traffic.
