Health Care launches a campaign (Doctor/Shamil) to raise awareness of the health insurance system

The Public Health Care Authority, headed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, launched a new awareness campaign aimed at increasing citizens’ awareness about the comprehensive health insurance system through a series of interactive videos under the title (Dr. Comprehensive).

This initiative comes within the Authority’s ongoing efforts to simplify information and clarify the Authority’s role in providing health services to citizens, and informing them of the advantages of the system, which is the largest national health reform project in Egypt.

Within the framework of This campaign, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Chairman of the Health Care Authority, explained: “This awareness campaign is part of the Authority’s ongoing strategy to communicate with citizens and present everything related to the comprehensive health insurance system in a simplified and clear manner. Through the video series (Dr. Shamil), we aim to increase awareness and clarify the Authority’s role in providing distinguished health services, in addition to answering the most frequently asked questions about the system."

Dr. Al-Sabki added: "We know Effective communication with citizens is crucial to achieving success in implementing this advanced health system. Therefore, the campaign focuses on simplifying information and explaining the authority’s role directly, especially in the governorates covered by the system’s implementation. The series will also address various aspects of the comprehensive health insurance system in a way that suits the needs of citizens."

The launch of the series began with the first video, which aims to introduce citizens to the General Authority for Health Care and its goals.

The video explains the authority’s role in controlling and organizing the provision of health care services within the comprehensive health insurance system, and explains how citizens benefit from these services. It also shows how the Authority works in the governorates covered by the actual implementation of the system, and reviews its role in improving health care and providing distinguished health services.

The Authority continues to publish awareness videos successively on its official platforms with the aim of achieving the maximum benefit from the campaign in educating the community. Introducing them to how to benefit from the comprehensive health insurance system and the services it provides.
