Health: 2.8 million young men and women were examined in the initiative “Screening those about to marry”
The Ministry of Health and Population announced that a medical examination was conducted for 2 million and 827 thousand young men and women, as part of the President of the Republic’s initiative to “examine those about to get married.” This has occurred since the launch of the initiative in February 2023, under the slogan “100 million health care”.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, revealed the issuance of 2 million And 577 thousand health certificates authenticated and secured with (QR Code) for those about to get married, explaining that the certificates are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of issuance, noting the necessity of conducting Examinations within a period of no less than 14 days before the completion of the marriage, in order to receive the results and obtain the health certificate.
