Head of Social Housing: The state provides significant support for housing proposals amounting to 9 billion pounds

The Housing Committee of the Journalists Syndicate organized an open dialogue with Mai Abdel Hamid, head of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund, to talk about housing projects in the presence of a number of journalists.
May Abdel Hamid said that she was happy to host the Journalists Syndicate, stressing that it was not the first time, but rather she was honored to attend the Journalists Syndicate more than once, and to communicate with it regarding joint cooperation, especially in problems related to members.
< p>The head of the Fund added that there had been good communication with the union and members over the past years, and responding to their inquiries on a permanent basis, with the aim of conveying the correct message and information to citizens about the proposed projects, noting that the Fund had issued 3 press releases during the past days, about proposals and announcements, and the Fund was now working. To announce new proposals for low- and middle-income people in a number of new cities, in two separate announcements.
She explained that these units are supported by a large amount of Egyptian public finances, and must reach those who are eligible, As a social protection program, the support provided to the fund’s proposals approached 8 or 9 billion pounds, and the large interest difference is paid by the state to the banks on behalf of the citizen, so the apartments must reach the deserving citizens.
