Harry Hamlin candidly opens up about his marriage with Lisa Rinna and how their relationship survived RHOBH

Actor Harry Hamlin has revealed how his marriage to Lisa Rinna survived while she was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – and how they’re doing today.

Hamlin, who is currently starring as Cortland in AMC’s Mayfair Witches, divulged the details of his 27-year marriage during an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com.

His wife, Lisa, was a cast member of the hit Bravo show for eight seasons, from 2014 to 2022.

Of course, as part of the series, the Days of Our Lives actress also took viewers inside her home life, including her relationship with Hamlin and their two children, daughters Delilah Belle, 26, and Amelia Gray, 23.

‘We’ve always had a great relationship, it wasn’t even tested during the Housewives thing,’ Hamlin told DailyMail.com exclusively about his marriage. 

He also joked that nowadays, he ‘gets a new wife everyday,’ as she is always wearing new clothes and wigs – something that’s oftentimes documented on her Instagram and TikTok accounts.

‘I recently did a show on Andy Cohen’s WWHL, and I did it with Kyle Richards, and I asked Kyle, I said, “So how many of the Housewives are still housewives?”‘ Hamlin continued.

He recalled Richards thinking for a moment, and then realizing that almost none of the cast members are truly ‘Housewives.’

‘We got out just in the nick of time,’ Hamlin joked to DailyMail.com, as he wiped his brow. 

In 2023, just three years after Erika Girardi filed for divorce from husband Tom, Richards announced her separation from longtime husband Mauricio Umansky, who she had been married to for 27 years.

In 2024, Dorit Kemsley also announced her separation from husband Paul Kemsley.

New cast members Bozoma Saint John and Jennifer Tilly both have boyfriends, but Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais are single.

The only exception here is Kathy Hilton, who is still married to entrepreneur Rick Hilton, her husband of 45 years.

However, despite some of these rocky relationships, it doesn’t look like it’s brought Hamlin any closer to some of the househusbands.

‘We didn’t bond during that whole situation, I think Mauricio and PK are good friends, but I kind of stayed out of it, the whole thing, and let those guys have fun on their own,’ the Harry’s Famous Sauce founder told DailyMail.com.

His wife, Rinna, left the show after its 12th season ended in 2023, but has remained friends with some of the cast members, like Girardi and Richards. 

Since then, Rinna’s modeling career has been taking off, as she’s walked the runway for various designers like Rotate Birger Christensen and Michael Kors.

And, she has some marriage advice to share, too.  

She admitted during a February 2024 interview with Us Weekly that she and Hamlin are pretty much opposites.

‘In our case, opposites attract. And we’re good at allowing the other person to be who they are and do what they want,’ the former Real Housewives star told the outlet.

Hamlin agreed, ‘It comes down to listening and being respectful and supportive. Lisa is Lisa, and that in and of itself is kind of a challenge, which is why I don’t follow [her] on social media.’

Viewers will get to see more of the couple starting on February 14, as they recently signed a podcast deal with Dear Media, titling the weekly show, Let’s Not Talk About The Husband.

He will host the show alongside his niece, Renee Guilbault, who is a certified Cordon Bleu chef.
