Halle Bailey’s ex DDG accused of ‘trying to ruin’ store worker after she denied return of $6,000 Bottega jacket

A former department store worker has spoken out about a rapper ‘trying to ruin her life’ because she refused to let him return a jacket which she saw him wearing after it was purchased.
TikTok user @roselovesssyou took to the app to share her negative interaction with a ‘famous rapper with a Disney actress girlfriend,’ who has since been self-identified as Halle Bailey’s ex DDG, 27.
In her ‘story time’ post, she claimed that the rapper had been nice and friendly when she helped him to pick out a Bottega jacket to feature in his music video.
However, things took a turn a week later when he came back to the store with his actress girlfriend-turned-baby mama, 24, attempting to return the $6,000 item.
The young worker denied the request because she felt the jacket smelled like ‘smoke and cologne’ and had been worn, and she even pulled up the music video in which the rapper could be seen wearing the item.
According to Tiffany, the Disney actress was unimpressed by the refusal and reportedly accused the store worker of being ‘unprofessional.’
Tiffany claimed that she stood be her decision because her job was commission-based and it was against store policy.
She recalled: ‘I explained to her, “You guys are public figures, very well known. He told me he was shooting a music video. This is a public video posted on YouTube.

‘”Yes, I saw it. Yes, I pulled it up because I am commission-based. I know it was worn. I cannot take back this jacket. It is a $6,000 jacket. It is against our return policy. I am not able to accept this. I could get in trouble. I’m very sorry.”‘
The couple eventually went to another store to return the item but Tiffany claims that things didn’t end there because the rapper posted his sales receipt, which made information about where she worked available to his fans.
‘This receipt showed my first name, the first initial of my last name, where I worked, the address of where I worked, and the department,’ she noted.
The TikToker claimed that the rapper said her first name in the video, accused her of being racist and that she had used the n-word.
‘I did not do this,’ she insisted adding that two of her Black co-workers were there and her assistant manager would have fired her ‘on the spot’ for such behavior.
Tiffany went on to detail dealing with what she says was over a month of harassment at the hands of the rapper’s fans.
She claimed that they not only found all of her social media, but actually started calling and showing up at her store.
‘If I answered [the phone], I was being cussed at, yelled at, threatened,’ she alleged. ‘I had to be walked to my car when I left because the groups would be kicked out and they’d still be waiting.’

Tiffany continued: ‘It was very damaging, and I thought it was insane behavior because you are abusing your platform to try to ruin somebody’s life who is just doing their job. I thought that was the craziest, most erratic thing in the entire world.’
Tiffany explained in several of her videos about the incident that she was speaking out now because she no longer works for the department store.
As fans began to connect the dots, DDG – real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. – confirmed that he was the rapper being spoken about but denied ‘doxing’.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, he wrote: ‘I took that jacket back soon as the video was over… $6k for mid was crazy. W finesse.’
Taking to a livestream, DDG later denied some fans claimed that he had doxxing the TikToker but also admitted that he didn’t remember what happened because it was ‘three years ago.’
‘Why do you keep saying doxxed? I don’t know her name. How can you dox somebody when you don’t know their name or anything?’ he stated.
After a pause, he continued: ‘Maybe I did, I dunno. It was three years ago. If I’mma get sued for that, sue me. I would love to go to court. That’s the easiest case ever.’
The claim became a trending topic months after DDG confirmed his split from The Little Mermaid star Halle.
The rapper and Halle were together for three years before their split last October, and they welcomed their baby three days before Christmas 2023.

The pair have since been working on maintaining an amicable co-parenting equation, even celebrating their son’s first birthday together.
The actress and rapper first sparked romance rumors back in January 2022 and a few months later in March, went public with their budding romance.
In June 2022, the pair made their red carpet debut as they attended the BET Awards together and sported all-black ensembles during the event.
The singer chose to avoid commenting on her private life and had even given birth several weeks before she actually revealed it to the world.
At the time, she explained: ‘There was no way in hell I was going to share the biggest joy of my world with anyone. Halo was my gift. He is the greatest blessing, and I had no obligation to expose him, me, or my family to that.’
It was DDG who then confirmed that the pair had decided to split in 2024 and stated on Instagram: ‘After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us.
‘I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared. Despite the change in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true.’
He continued: ‘As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co- parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared.’
‘As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support. Thank you for your love and encouragement. – DDG.’
