Will the Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez drama ever end?! This week, a TikToker named Courtney (@courtneypresto) went viral after claiming that Hailey liked a video in which Courtney was being “a little shady” towards Selena and her fiancé, Benny Blanco.
Now, a rep for the model and business owner has stepped in to slam Courtney’s claims.
“This never happened,” Hailey’s team told Page Six.
“This entire story has been fabricated by a content creator looking to capitalise off of an old, tired narrative.”
In case you missed it, the drama kicked off when TikToker Courtney posted a video subtly making fun of Selena and Benny’s photoshoot with Interview Magazine.

Shortly after, Courtney followed up with another video, claiming that Hailey liked her shady video.
As a result, she summised that the supposed beef between the two celebrities was still going on, despite both of them cutting down the rumours on multiple occasions.
“That means that the Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber beef is alive and well, people,” Courtney exclaimed.
“Hailey probably hates Selena! I feel like this is definitive proof that when Hailey Bieber is like ‘it’s all good, it’s all love, we have absolutely no beef’ — she’s lying.”
Honestly, I can’t imagine how exhausting and frustrating the ongoing beef must be for both Hailey and Selena. Rumours of a feud between the two have been kicking around since 2018 when Hailey started dating her now-husband, Justin Bieber.
Despite both women addressing the beef rumours publically on multiple occasions, the rhetoric has become so much bigger than them. At one point, Hailey was even receiving death threats — among other awful comments — from Selena’s fans.
While things seemed to settle down in recent years, Courtney’s TikTok only gave new life to a vicious rumour which truly doesn’t serve anyone.
Admittedly, I love celebrity beef as much as the next gossip-loving gal, but I think it’s important to recognise when there is actual beef or whether we’re pitting women in the public eye against each other for our own entertainment.
Plus, even if Selena and Hailey aren’t pals or have some bad vibes, I think that’s fairly common for two women who dated the same man at one point. Don’t you?
