The Police Academy (College of Training and Development “Egyptian Center for Training in Peacekeeping Operations”), in coordination with the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized a ceremony to graduate trainees from training courses in the fields of (security and safety in a dangerous field work environment) qualifying for enrollment. The ceremony was attended by Major General Director of the College of Training and Development And the Ambassador, Deputy Secretary-General of the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a number of officers of the College of Training and Development. During his speech, the Director of the College of Training and Development conveyed to them the greetings of the Minister of Interior, and His Excellency’s great interest in the activities of these courses, stressing the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to Providing developed training programs for trainees from African security cadres, to ensure the development and refinement of their scientific, physical and technical skills and abilities, in order to achieve the effectiveness of their performance while carrying out their lofty duties in international peacekeeping missions… especially since the training course program was based on combining the theoretical and practical aspects to ensure the acquisition of male and female trainees. The necessary skills and capabilities in the field of maintaining peace and security.
For his part, the Ambassador, Deputy Secretary-General of the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development, confirmed that the agency is working intensively in the field of capacity building and supporting development activities in cooperation with relevant institutions, including the Police Academy. Enhancing security and stability in the countries of the African continent represents one of the priorities of the agency’s work in order to spread development in order to achieve the well-being of peoples and spread peace and stability.
