Glamorous DJ arrested on suspicion of running ‘high-end’ prostitution ring

A glamorous DJ has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the running of a high-end prostitution ring.

Rebeka ‘Beka’ Episcopo, who is well known in the music industry, was arrested as part of a police operation called ‘Last Massage.’

Episcopo is one of six people targeted as part of the sting.

Two others have also been remanded into custody, while the rest must sign in with the authorities at regular intervals.

Episcopo was arrested in Lisbon and is accused of leading a prostitution ring in Portugal.

The music star, who boasts more than 65,300 followers on Instagram, is originally from Dourados, Brazil, but has lived in Europe for more than 30 years.

In addition to DJing at events and radio stations, she is a producer, businesswoman, and international model, as per reports online.

Episcopo owns two branches of Nuru Spa in Lisbon and Cascais.

She is believed to have recruited women from Brazil, where detectives suspect the prostitution ring may also be operating, to work there.

Nuru Spa caters to a high-income clientele and advertises ‘sensual care’ and ‘tantric massages’ on its website.

In addition to pimping, detectives are investigating the suspects for social security fraud.

During the operation, officers seized around $117,378 in cash and bank checks totaling $11,000 from the group.

Three firearms, ammo, and pepper spray canisters were among the other items seized across 17 raids.

The two other suspects ordered into preventive custody are another Brazilian woman and a Portuguese man.

One of the suspects is reportedly a police officer on extended leave. 

In March 2025, Saudi Arabia arrested more than 50 people including sex workers and foreign nationals as police crack down on ‘immoral acts.’

The Ministry of Interior arrested 11 women into custody on prostitution charges, the Financial Times reports.

The newly established community security unit also detained dozens of foreigners on alleged offences in massage parlours and for forcing women and children into begging.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the creation of the new police unit to tackle ‘community security and human trafficking’.

Analysts allege the community security unit was formed in response to ‘notable increased activity’ related to sex and other alleged issues of morality.
