Giza removes 57 kiosks, windows, and cement barriers on public roads

Engineer Adel Al-Najjar assigned the Governor of Giza to continue efforts to remove encroachments and remove occupancy from the public road, and not to allow commercial establishments, shops, and restaurants to exploit pedestrian sidewalks and the path of the road to place occupancy, in order to provide a safe campus for citizens to walk and ensure that traffic movement is not obstructed.

< p>In this context, the Giza Governorate, through the Imbaba neighborhood, and in cooperation with the accompanying police, implemented a massive campaign to remove encroachments on the public road on Asran Abdel Naeem Street in Ezbet Al-Saayda, within the framework of the development work being implemented in that sector, as the road was included for development within the investment plan for the fiscal year. Ongoing and in response to citizens’ complaints about the presence of a number of illegal kiosks encroaching on pedestrian sidewalks.

The governor was informed of the results of the campaigns that resulted in the removal of 57 kiosks, windows, tandas, and a concrete barrier erected in violation, encroaching on the right of way and the regulation line, and causing work on the public road and obstructing it. For the movement of citizens and vehicles.

The Governor of Giza also followed the efforts of the Omraniya neighborhood to remove occupancy and encroachments from the main road at Al-Thalatheni and Nasser Al-Thawra Streets, which resulted in removing 250 occupancy cases while facilitating the movement of citizens’ traffic. 

< p>The Governor of Giza stressed the necessity of periodically visiting the sites from which the violations were removed to ensure that the violation is not repeated again, dealing immediately with any new violations, taking all legal measures, intensifying campaigns to lift occupancy periodically to address violations, and not being lenient towards violators while taking legal measures.< /p>
