The army has been shelling the Gaza Strip for more than 400 days. New houses were hit in the Zeitoun district (Gaza) on Saturday, November 23. The emergency services searched the rubble with the means at hand. The strikes left seven dead, including three children, according to the Hamas-held Gaza Civil Defense, and around ten injured. “For what ? What did these people do? They were sleeping at home“, asks a man.
By day, Gaza is a field of ruins. Nothing and no one is safe, not even children, from the Israeli war against Hamas. “We took refuge in a school. We come from the North. We lost everything: our house, our job“, deplores a woman. Many do not have anything to eat, and wait hours for a piece of bread, as in Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip. The United Nations, for their part, describes the situation as Gaza of “absolute nightmare“.
