Fox News royalty Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt celebrate Christmas with engagement at their home church
Fox News hosts Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt are officially engaged after Hannity popped the question in church over Christmas.
The newly engaged couple gushed that they ‘couldn’t be happier’ in an announcement Thursday on foxnews.com, taking their relationship to the next level years after their romance was revealed by DailyMail.com.
‘We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,’ Earhardt and Hannity stated.
The couple notified their ex-spouses ahead of their announcement and declared that ‘everyone is supportive of each other.’
They kept details of the proposal private, other than to say he proposed in their ‘home church’ and that this was the ‘perfect place’, given they’ve bonded over their deep faith and ‘have placed God first in their relationship’.
Hannity, who will turn 63 on Monday, lives in Florida while Earhardt, 48, stays in New York, but the couple have made their long-distance relationship work with weekend trips. This will continue for the foreseeable future.
‘With a mutual respect for each other’s careers, both Hannity and Earhardt have long-term deals to remain at Fox News Media, where Earhardt will continue to co-host ‘Fox & Friends’ from New York while the primetime star will continue to host his eponymous show ‘Hannity’ from Florida,’ foxnews.com stated.
Rumors of the Fox News hosts’ romance had been reported for years, but the two repeatedly refused to comment on the speculation until DailyMail.com broke the news of their relationship in 2023.

Hannity’s divorce from wife Jill Rhodes, with whom he shares two children, was first reported in 2020. They separated in 2015, but managed to keep it quiet.
Meanwhile, Earhardt and her second husband Will Proctor, split in 2018 and their divorce was finalized in 2019.
In Thursday’s announcement, the couple declared they ‘still get along well’ with their exes, and that Earhardt and her former husband continue to amicably raise their daughter.
‘We actually made them aware this was happening ahead of time,’ the couple stated.
DailyMail.com confirmed the couple’s budding romance in April 2023 with exclusive pictures of the pair arm in arm in a South Carolina Waffle House and at an oyster festival on Long Island, New York.
‘They started out as best friends and the relationship evolved over time,’ a source close to the pair told us.
They then started spending time as a blended family with Earhardt’s now-nine-year-old daughter Hayden – the product of her marriage to one-time Clemson quarterback Proctor – giving them her full blessing.
And Hannity’s new $23.5 million home, an eight-bed, 10.5-bath Spanish-style home on a barrier island off Palm Beach, Florida, will make a perfect place for the family.

Set on nearly two acres of land it boasts a pool that shimmers in the evening, a dock, a balcony and a roof-level observation terrace.
It also has a bar, wine room, elevator and fireplace.
Hannity announced earlier this year that he would be broadcasting his radio show, The Sean Hannity Show, from his new home in the Sunshine State which drew him in due to its conservative political climate.
‘We are now beginning our first broadcast of my new home, and that is in the free state of Florida,’ he said in January of 2024.
‘I am out. I am done. I’m finished. New York, New York, goodbye. Florida, Florida, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. But it’s great to be here.’
Earhardt has been a regular visitor, but has to keep a base in New York where Fox & Friends is filmed.
One source close to the couple told DailyMail.com: ‘They had only seen each other on weekends given Ainsley lives in the city and Sean was on Long Island.
‘So the only difference now is that they will be traveling by plane instead of a car back and forth to Long Island.’
Earhardt has been married twice. She tied the knot with Kevin McKinnon in 2005, but it was over by 2009. Three years later she married Proctor but when she suddenly stopped referring to him on Fox & Friends in 2019 it became clear that that relationship was done.
Hannity and Rhodes, who were married for 29 years have two children, Patrick, now 26 and Merri, 23.
