Foreign Minister: Egypt is keen to make every effort to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people
He met Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, with Malik Agar, Vice President of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, during his visit to Port Sudan today, Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs referred to the historical relations that linking the two brotherly countries and peoples, stressing Egypt’s support for Sudanese institutions, Sudan’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, stressing Egypt’s keenness to make all possible efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people and facilitate access to… Humanitarian aid to Sudan.
Minister Abdel-Aty also noted the facilities provided by Egypt to Sudanese citizens to facilitate their stay in Egypt until they return safely to their country, the latest of which is holding high school exams for members of the Sudanese community in Egypt, based on directives from Mr. President of the Republic, within the framework of the importance that Egypt attaches to helping the members of the Sudanese community complete their educational journey.
