The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, confirmed that Egypt is focusing on developing the human element in the field of digital transformation as it is the basic foundation for developing the information technology sector, in conjunction with efforts to develop the digital infrastructure in Egypt.

Dr. Abdel Aty highlighted the interest that Egypt gives to the communications and information technology sector, noting the projects that Egypt is implementing within the framework of the “Egypt Digital Platform,” which aims to integrate communications and information technology applications. He stressed the importance of agreeing on the necessary principles to ensure the responsible and balanced use of artificial intelligence, as well as establishing an international framework for the governance of artificial intelligence applications to establish clear foundations for reducing the risks resulting from it.
