Footy star Lachlan Ilias’s high-profile manager Braith Anasta does the unthinkable and slams his OWN client on TV

Lachlan Ilias’ player manager Braith Anasta has raised eyebrows after slamming the Dragons halfback on live television.
Ilias, 24, is under the microscope following a mixed start to his time at the Red V – but he would have been stunned following Anasta’s savage spray on NRL 360.
‘He’s got to be better, the weekend (Eels defeat) was a big miss from him,’ Anasta said of his client.
‘He had the opportunity there to ice it (contest) and he went for the 40/20 and he got it wrong.
‘You just can’t do that.’
Anasta then referenced a previous game against South Sydney, where Dragons coach Shane Flanagan singled out a poor performance from his playmaker.

Lachlan Ilias joined the Dragons this season after four years at the South Sydney Rabbitohs (pictured, with partner Regan Stephens)
‘And the Rabbitohs game, we saw the backlash and it knocked him (Ilias) around a little bit,’ he said.
‘I felt sick for him (against Parramatta), I really did because it was like living a nightmare.
‘Obviously I’m passionate about Lachie and look after him….but he has got to be better.
‘I don’t think he’ll have 10 rounds, I think it’s the next two or three weeks really.’
It comes as Dragons development player Jonah Glover continues to impress at NSW Cup level and is reportedly pushing for an opportunity in first grade.
On Friday night in Wollongong, Ilias has the chance to atone when the Dragons take on the Gold Coast Titans from 6pm.
Anasta is a busy man – the NRL 360 host is also the General Manager at Searoo Sports, who have the likes of Melbourne Storm five-eighth Cameron Munster and NRLW star Jesse Southwell on their books.
Additionally, the sports management company secured Aussie golfers Anthony Quayle, Jake McLeod, Trevor Simsby and Nathan Barbieri as clients.
