Footy coach Simon Goodwin gets married in stunning Bali ceremony – but one detail in his wedding photo has raised some eyebrows
Footy coach Simon Goodwin and his partner Kristine Brooks have tied the knot during a stunning wedding ceremony in Bali.
Surrounded by around 100 close friends and family, the couple were the picture of happiness.
The pair are understood to have exchanged vows at the Suku Beach Club in Nusa Ceningan, Bali.
Brooks looked radiant as she wore an elegant white wedding dress, while Goodwin and his groomsmen also dazzled.
The footy coach and his groom’s party all wore a smart short-sleeved white T-shirt that was patterned with blue stripes.
They smiled and cheered as they posed for a group picture with their guests, with several Melbourne Demons stars said to have also been in attendance for the celebration.

It comes after Goodwin had popped the question to Brooks on Christmas Eve, 2023. They have been together since 2021 but have kept their relationship out of the public eye.
Max Gawn, Jake Lever and Jake Melksham were three stars who were said to have travelled to Bali for the nuptials.
Meanwhile, Businessman Darren Thomas, who is the founder of Thomas Foods, was also in attendance at the event, taking to Instagram to share some snaps and a video of the occasion.
He captioned the post: ‘What a night’.
Melbourne Demons also took to Instagram and X to celebrate the moment, writing: ‘A good win to start the year. ‘Congratulations Simon + Kris. #DemonSpirit.’
This was the second time Goodwin has walked down the aisle after he split with his former partner, Maggie, after 15 years of marriage back in 2021.
Goodwin enjoyed a glittering career with the Crows before stepping into coaching. He’d join up with Melbourne in 2017 after a brief spell with Essendon in 2013, before going on to lead the Demons to the 2021 premiership title.

While some fans sent congratulations to the couple, others commented on Goodwin’s outfit
Many have taken to Instagram and X to wish both Goodwin and Brooks congratulations on the news.
‘Absolutely gorgeous,’ one wrote. ‘Congratulations to you both,’ another said.
‘Love, love, love – Congratulations’ one Instagram user added.
But some fans raised eyebrows at the football coach’s attire, with one writing on X: ‘Made an effort.’
Despite the comments, others called out trolls in the captions, with one writing on Instagram: ‘So many haters, congrats! Look at you go you good-thing.’
One added: ‘Sweet suit’ with a ‘fire emoji’.
