Three children and an adult have been airlifted to hospital after a horror crash on the Hume Highway between Sydney and Canberra.
A van reportedly rolled on the highway near Marulan at around 12pm on Tuesday.
The driver and seven passengers were left trapped before bystanders freed them, NSW Police said.
The driver received minor injuries and was treated at the scene, but one adult and three children were airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash has closed all southbound lanes of the Hume Highway, with a detour opened on Jerrara Road.
Police are now investigating the circumstances of the crash.
