First look: Kmart’s luxurious new ‘February Living’ range is here – and it starts from just $6

Kmart is set to launch its eagerly anticipated ‘February Living’ range across Australia, offering hundreds of luxury-inspired goods for $99 and under.

In store and online from Thursday, the new range will offer customers access to the latest living trends and storage solutions for all areas of the home at low prices.

Thoughtfully put together by the store’s Melbourne-based in-house design and buying team the stunning new collection features a mix of versatile pieces and timeless classics.

Inspired by international trends, customers will be treated to statement furniture pieces to elevate everyday living, storage solutions to ensure a clutter-free home and on-trend homewares for adding your own touch to every space. 

There’s an obvious softness and earthy feel to the range, with silhouettes, contemporary lines, curved and sculptural shapes, much-loved checks and stylish stripes all stamped with a calming colour palette of grounded neutrals.

Other pieces feature mood-boosting pops of colour and relaxed, natural wooden tones while items like the chairs and cushions are made with soft, understated fabrics to add plushness and sophistication.

As always, corduroy and boucle make an appearance and offer a mid-century modern aesthetic.

Other stand-outs are the statement puddle mirror ($17), bubble side table ($29) and the timeless Marlo Chair ($99) which are perfect for bringing a dull room to life with current trends.

For those into beauty, the slick cosmetic caddy ($49) is spacious and comes with a mirror and LED lights while the team predicts the top handle tumblers ($14) to be huge on TikTok for those unwilling to fork out for a Stanley.

Kmart’s Home Buyer, Nicholas Holmes, says the store is constantly working on delivering cost of living solutions for shoppers. 

This is evident in the viral hits of late, including the $18 dupe of the $6,000 Bottega Veneta Hop bag, the $119 Arch Rug and the ‘perfect’ $20 skirt named the ‘buy of summer’. 

‘We are proud to be launching a range that offers our customers accessible ways to refresh their space at an affordable price point,’ Mr Holmes said.

‘This year, we are thrilled to unveil a larger suite of statement furniture pieces including buffets, side tables and occasional chairs to help ease the pressure of purchasing big ticket items for the home. 

‘Our living drops are always highly anticipated, and we are already seeing the excitement starting to build across social media from shoppers who have been able to get their hands on our on-trend pieces.’

You can shop the range in store and online from Thursday, January 30. 

Decorative accents like throws, cushions and candles, to occasional chairs, lighting and side tables can already be found in some stores.
