Within the framework of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative, which aims to improve the quality of life for citizens in Egyptian villages, Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, Governor of Sohag, announced the date of the public lottery to distribute housing units within the “Decent Housing” project.
This step comes within the framework of implementing the first phase of the project, which aims to provide housing units for the most needy families in various centers of Sohag Governorate. The lottery is scheduled to take place on December 7th, and will include seven main centers in the governorate, reflecting the state’s commitment to providing a decent life for all citizens.
The Seventh Day presents the most important information about the lottery that will start tomorrow, Tuesday. Find out all the information through the following presentation: –
1 – The date set for the public lottery: Tuesday, December 3.
2 – Location: The headquarters of the seven local units in the concerned centers.
3 – The centers included in the lottery: Tama, Maragha, Saqalta, Al-Mansha, Jirga, Al-Balina, Dar es Salaam.
4 – Number of applicants: 3684 citizens.
5 – Number of available housing units: 864 housing units.
6 – Geographical distribution of applicants:
– Tama: 223 applicants.
– Maragha: 600 applicants.
– Saqalta: 170 applicants.
– Establishment: 307 applicants.
– Girga: 800 applicants.
– Al-Balina: 583 applicants.
– Dar es Salaam: 1001 applicants.
7 – The project’s goal: meeting the needs of citizens from the most deserving groups and achieving a decent and safe living environment.
8 – Government support: The project is part of the plan to develop Egyptian villages within the “Decent Life” initiative to achieve sustainable development.
9 – Lottery Supervision Committee: A committee was formed to ensure transparency and integrity, headed by the Deputy Governor and membership of representatives from “Hayat Karima”, heads of local units, legal affairs, governance and internal audit in the governorate.
