Following the earth-stopping news that Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have split up after three years together, folks have begun stalking social media for clues about the breakup.
The first one that has people talking is a post that Channing made mere hours before their split was revealed to PEOPLE.
Earlier that day, the actor reshared an Instagram post that had been shared by Dave Bautista to his Instagram Stories, which featured a Deadline article announcing the cast of the Zellner brothers’ upcoming alien invasion comedy Alpha Gang.
The film stars Tatum, Bautista, Kravitz, Riley Keough, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux and Aussie Cate Blanchett.

“Alpha Gang follows alien invaders disguised as a ruthless 1950s biker gang sent to conquer Earth — until emotions derail their mission. Thrilled to join this project with the Zellner brothers and an out of this world cast,” the caption reads.
“Get ready for something epic! #AlphaGang.”
People in the comments were shook over the fact that this post was shared by Channing the same day as the breakup was announced. Not to mention the fact that the freshly broken up couple will soon have to work together on a film.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwkward!
“This announced same day as Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum’s split?!?!” one person wrote.
“Good for promotion,” another replied.
“That’s gotta be awkward considering world star posted that Channing Tatum and Zoë called off their engagement a couple hours ago,” another follower wrote.
My god, I cannot imagine how tense the vibe of that set is going to be!
Elsewhere on social media, the fiancé of Channing Tatum’s ex Jenna Dewan, Steve Kazee left a spicy Instagram Story that has raised eyebrows.

Noticing all the backlash, he later posted the following Instagram Story: “A guy can’t laugh about a houseplant TikTok in today’s world, I see…”

Speaking to Page Six, the Broadway star’s rep insisted that no shade was intended, and that he was actually laughing at a TikTok video he posted in his next slide.
The TikTok featured a joke about people who struggle to remember to water their plants, with Jenna Dewan tagged as it’s “something he’s notorious for at home,” according to the rep.
The pair were last spotted together on October 6 in New York City’s Red Hook neighbourhood when they went to see a production of a play that starred Blink Twice co-star Levon Hawke.
The pair first got together after working on Kravitz’s feature directorial debut Blink Twice that starred Tatum. Soon after, they were frequently spotted together in cute pap pics.
Then, last year, they made our hearts sing by announcing they were getting hitched.
Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz — your union will live on in our hearts. RIP to our fave couple.
