Married At First Sight‘s (MAFS) Lauren Hall has seemingly solidified herself as one of this year’s villains as fans voice their outrage over her snooty attitude towards her fellow co-stars.
This article contains Married At First Sight spoilers. It’s up to you if you wanna stay or leave.
ICYMI, MAFS 2025 is in its Couples’ Retreat Week, meaning that our participants have been shipped off to Byron Bay for some out-of-apartment drama.
While most of the couples are comfy with each other, it’s intruder couple Lauren Hall and Clint Rice who seemingly have a bone to pick with their co-stars.
From Episode One, Lauren has made it clear that she does not fuck with her castmates, especially fan-favourite Jamie Marinos, who she described as “boganic”.
Rolling into Couples’ Retreat Week, the MAFS trad wife has now made her feelings apparent to her peers, telling her fellow brides that she didn’t give a flying fuckaroni about their opinions on her marriage to Clint.
However, things reached boiling point during girls’ night when Lauren made it CRYSTAL CLEAR that she has no interest in speaking to Jamie, Awhina Rutene and Beth Kelly — the three brides who tried to talk to her about her marriage.
“I’ve spoken to people I have an interest in talking to and it’s not either of you,” Lauren fired back to Awhina and Jamie, who called her out for not making an effort to talk to them.
“Are you joking?” Beth piped up before she said, “That’s actually fucking rude.”
“Anything else you wanna say?” Lauren coldly replied.

Following that brief squabble, Jamie and Awhina left the group, ultimately cutting the girls’ night short.
As the girls gatecrashed the boys’ night, Jamie, Awhina and Beth went into a room to tell their husbands what went down. During this gossip spill, Jamie revealed that Lauren called them “drunk bogans” and that she didn’t feel a “spark” with Clint.

Shortly after the tea sesh, Clint was pulled aside by MAFS producers for a voxxie. However, it was promptly interrupted by Dave Hand — Jamie’s husband — who told him about what Lauren said about their relationship during girls’ night.
“She’s been saying with you there’s no spark. She’s not interested,” Dave warned Clint.
“We wanted to give you a heads-up from the start. As soon as you step away from this, it’s all gonna be over.
“Play it smart, man.”

Rolling around to the next morning, Clint shared what Dave said to Lauren. When the former pro-golfer asked Lauren about what she said about their relationship, she described it as “bullshit”.
She then went on to call her fellow castmates “trolls” and say that “they’re all mental”.
Lauren also went on to call her fellow brides “bullies”, called Jamie a “troll” and that they “harassed” her over her relationship.

After all the MAFS couples went on their dates, Teejay Halkias approached Clint and Lauren to figure out what was going on since the intruder pair isolated themselves from the group. BTW, during this isolation period, Lauren called Teejay’s wife, Beth, an “ugly mute”.
Yikes that’s such a needlessly cruel thing to say about Beth. How can Clint keep standing behind her?? #mafs #mafsau

During their chat, Lauren called Jamie a troll, which Teejay relays back to Jamie.
Throughout the episode, Lauren continued to call her castmates “bogans” and that their actions were so “boganic”. Yawnnnnnnnn.
Lauren could win a game of scrabble by only using different versions of the word bogan, that is how many variations she knows. Bogannic, Boganning, Boganistic…it’s never ending #MAFSAU #MAFS

When the final dinner for the Couples’ Retreat happened, Dave — like the king he is — called out Lauren in front of the whole group for her degrading comments about Jamie and her fellow brides.
“I think it’s super disrespectful to all the women here, let alone my wife who backed you day one against Eliot [Donovan]. It’s pretty rude to have the guts to call these beautiful women ‘trolls’ and ‘bogans’,” Dave said before directing the conversation to Clint, asking him about what he thinks.
Clint unsurprisingly stood by his wife, telling Dave, “After what I heard last night, I back Lauren.”

Unfortunately — because MAFS is MAFS — the discussion leads to an all-out screaming brawl, with Lauren describing the girls’ night as an “ambush” and calling the brides a “bunch of wild animals”.
The conversation then somehow shifts from Lauren being rude and calling the brides bully-grade names to Jamie being too loud.
MY LORD. I’m getting “muzzle your woman” flashbacks!!!!!
Thankfully, Dave stands up for Jamie after Clint tells her to dial it back with her voice. But unfortunately, Carina Mirabile steps in and also tells Jamie to basically chill TF out, which sets Jamie off since they seemed to be good friends up until that point.
“I’m so hurt. I’m beyond hurt. Where were my friends when I needed them?” Jamie cried in a voxxie.
Lauren eventually left the chat when both Adrian and Jacqui Burfoot stated that Jamie owed an apology after Clint swore at her multiple times to “sit the fuck down”.

Yeeeesh. That made my blood boil. Here’s what MAFS fans had to say about the whole kerfuffle.
Yes sure, everyone else is a bully and lying, not Lauren #mafsau #mafs pic.twitter.com/2xv2pYMxBt

This is what happens Jamie, I can relate, being older now, I don’t rush in to fight others battles anymore, I choose wisely, well I try 🤣 #MAFSAU

We’ve all known girls like Jamie, she’s the outspoken one, she gets involved, she tells everyone how she feels.
We’ve also known girls like Carina and Rhi. The pretty girls who don’t say anything too polarising because it might be too controversial
🤷♀️I dunno

“I think it’s super disrespectful to my wife… it’s pretty shit behaviour to call women trolls”
GOD it’s good to have good men (Dave, Billy, Jeff) on our TV’s this year. Especially when men like Mumbledrian, Temu tater tot and “doors make me angry” Paul exist #MAFS #MAFSAU pic.twitter.com/p5WMiZvkTw

The more I watch Jamie the more she can be in my gang. Telling the truth and calling people out for their poor actions.
There is no time here for the woke faint hearted when there is bad behaviour and Lauren is rude and Clint is a weak prick.

AIYIYIYI. Maybe Channel Nine should’ve given Lauren and Clint the chopper to get outta there.
Married At First Sight returns tomorrow on Channel Nine and 9Now.
