Married At First Sight (MAFS) fans have been left divided after fan-favourite bride Jamie Marinos decided to participate in the major plot twist that is Final Test Week.

We’re only days away from Final Vows. However, just like Kris Jenner, the MAFS gods work harder than the devil when it comes to putting our participants through hell.
In a MAFS first, the experts have introduced Final Test Week.
What is Final Test Week, you ask? Well to give you the TL;DR, the experts have separated all the couples and are now giving them the opportunity to meet a “potential match” ahead of Final Vows.
The challenge aims to test the strength of the final couples as well as answer the question, “Is the grass greener on the other side?”.
On Tuesday night’s episode, fan-favourites Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand were tossed the controversial challenge and considering their recent relationship woes, it wasn’t surprising that one of them took the leap to meet someone new.
This time around, it was Jamie who opted to meet her “Plan B” groom, while Dave rejected the challenge.
But before she went on the date, the fan-fave bride emphasised that she was just “nosey” and that she was just “curious” about who the experts could’ve set her up with.
“I had more than one match? I’m actually surprised there was one match. Now, there’s more?” Jamie laughed before describing herself as “unmatchable”.
“I’m a nosey bitch, I love to know these things… So curious!”
But unfortunately, for the Greek bride, Jamie was stood up!
After waiting for yonks, Jamie returned to the apartment without seeing who could’ve been her partner on the show.
When Dave finally arrived at their humble abode, the self-proclaimed gentle giant went on a spiel about how he was happy with Jamie and how he opted to stay home instead of go on the date meet and greet.
After that sweet speech, Jamie dropped the truth bomb on her ‘husband’, revealing that she did partake in the Final Test. However, she was stood up for the “first time” ever.
Instead of blowing up at his ‘wife’, Dave cracked up at the odd revelation.
After exchanging a hefty amount of giggles, Dave said he was “OK” with Jamie’s decision to go on the date and understood where she was coming from after she explained she took on the challenge out of curiosity.
“We’re in a marriage here, I trust her, but I’m glad she got stood up,” Dave shared in a voxie.
While it appeared that the pair avoided any major conflicts, viewers on social media have been left divided over Jamie’s decision to participate in the challenge.

As someone who’s been watching this season like a hawk, I can understand why people are pissed at Jamie for her actions. For me personally, I definitely would describe this Final Test as some kind of loyalty challenge, and in that sense, the bride totally failed.
That being said, I am glad that they were able to laugh it off and maybe Jamie’s failed date was a sign from the universe that Dave is the one for her. But I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens at Final Vows.
