There’s no doubt that the Experts on Married At First Sight (MAFS) are going IN on our participants and their bad behaviour in 2025. This time around, it’s the controversial, trad-wife, boganic wordsmith bride, Lauren Hall, who’s copped a ‘yuge talking too on the ouch couch.
This article contains Married At First Sight spoilers. It’s up to you if you wanna stay or leave.
ICYMI, this week has been jam-packed with BOGANIC drama. To keep it short and sweet, we’ve just come right off the heels of Couples’ Retreat week, and intruder couple Lauren Hall and Clint Rice caused a stir amongst their castmates after isolating themselves from the group.
The reason? Lauren kept on insisting that she didn’t want to associate with her fellow co-stars — specifically Awhina Rutene, Jamie Marinos and Beth Kelly — because of their boganic ways. You see, this has been Lauren’s mindset since the Hens Party, where she said Jamie was “boganic”.
However, Lauren’s takedown of her fellow co-stars was sparked when Awhina, Jamie and Beth tried to question her romantic connection with Clint at the Couples’ Retreat.
As a result of the confrontation, Lauren called her fellow brides “boganic” to their faces, which sent Jamie into a complete tizzy.
Unfortunately for Jamie, she got into a scrap not only with Lauren, but also with Carina Mirabile and Rhi Disljenkovic because they didn’t stick up for her and with Lauren and Clint skipping the Dinner Party, the trio got into it during Wednesday night’s festivities.

Rolling into Sunday night’s Commitment Ceremony, both Lauren and Clint were nowhere to be seen with the rest of the cast. But with MAFS being MAFS, the villain couple made a dramatic late entrance, just like Morena Farina and Tim Gromie earlier this season.

Immediately after they sat down, Lauren dished out the zoo insults, saying she “should’ve brought pellets” to keep her co-stars quiet after the group questioned their absence from the explosive Dinner Party.
Lauren and Clint were the first couple to be called up to the couch, opening them up for a good ol’ grilling. When asked about the Couples’ Retreat, the controversial bride claimed she was “attacked by Awhina, Jamie and Beth”.
She then dished that she felt shut down, especially with Jamie, because “that lady [AKA Jamie] keept flapping her mouth”.
When Jamie tried to speak up, both Clint and Lauren told her to shut up. Yuckyyyy.

After insulting her co-stars, the group tried to defend themselves. However, Lauren quickly shut them down, stating, “Do we have a curtain we could pull across”.
In comes Daddy John Aiken, who slammed Lauren for the words she used to describe her co-stars.
“You talk as if you’re above them and they’re way below you. Do you think you’re better than them?” Aiken questioned the controversial bride.
After a dramatic commercial break, Lauren agreed she felt better than them because of her behaviour in comparison to her co-stars.

John noted that the whole cast “rallied around” her when Eliot Donovan rejected her during the first half of the experiment and questioned how quickly the tables turned, with everyone now calling her out for her name-calling and rude ‘tude.
Lauren went on to explain that she acts the way she acts because she’s “shy” and has a “cold-hearted exterior”. However, this was promptly shut down by fellow MAFS expert Mel Schilling.
“There’s a clear difference between being shy, being rude or being disrespectful,” Mel began.
“I think you’re giving yourself a little bit too much credit personality-wise because what we’re seeing in terms of the pattern you’re displaying here is rudeness, Lauren.”
CLOOOOOCK IT, MAMA MEL. CLOCK IT.

Eventually, the conversation evolved from the group dynamic to Clint and Lauren’s relationship.
Long story short, both end up choosing to leave because they feel like they don’t have that “spark”. That je ne sais quoi.
However, when Lauren showed her card, it’s revealed she wrote “LEAVE-ing the zoo,” which sends the group into madness.

And just like Morena, the pair decided to leave the set following their time on the couch.
Here’s how fans reacted when Lauren got clocked as well as the couple’s abrupt exit!
