Ruh-roh. It appears that a Married At First Sight fan has spotted a major editing fail in the season’s second last Dinner Party, and honestly, this one is quite the biggie!
Last Wednesday hosted season 12’s second last Dinnery Party, and it was pure chaos. We’ve had Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias venting out their concerns with their ‘marriage’, and Ryan Donnelly attempting to break things off with Jacqui Burfoot following their disastrous Homestays Week experience.
However, amongst all the anarchy, one eagle-eyed fan pointed out a ‘yuge editing blunder involving the controversial bride.
You see, before Jacqui had her official entrance into the Cocktail Party, the Manly-based bride was spotted greeting Carina Mirabile and Paul Antoine when they entered.
In fact, Jacqui was the second last person to ‘enter’ the Cocktail Party with her ‘husband’ Ryan coming in last.
The editing fail was immediately pointed out by fans on TikTok, with one user (@theonlydress_hire) sharing the blunder on their account.
“Who noticed the editing fail at the last Married At First Sight dinner party,” they wrote before they claimed Carina, Jacqui, Awhina Rutene and Rhi Disljenkovic were using their dress hire services for the Dinner Party.
“Jacqui was already sitting on the couch when she had not yet officially walked in.”
“This season’s editing has been the worst,” one person commented.
“You’ve just explained so much! My husband said someone was already there wearing the same colour as Carina when they walked in. I thought he was imagining it,” wrote a second viewer.
This isn’t the first time an editing fail was spotted in MAFS 2025. Earlier in the season, Love Island Australia‘s Erin Alysha noticed that Eliot Donovan‘s beer glass would be almost empty, to full, to empty, to full again during a pivotal scene between him and Lauren Hall.
“How could they edit this part so badly?” the Love Island alum wrote.
AIYIYI. While these scenes have been quite the headfucks, I will applaud the editors for their iconic, messy moments like adding flashbacks and highlighting the word “snob” in Paul’s letter.
Y’all are doing amazing.
