Claire Kittle, one of the most famous WAGs – a popular term for the ‘wives and girlfriends’ of prominent athletes – has revealed how she plans her gameday glam looks.
Kittle, who is a well-known influencer in her own right with over 300,000 followers on Instagram, is married to San Francisco 49’ers tight end George Kittle.
The two met while they were freshmen in college at The University of Iowa, and have been together ever since, tying the knot in 2019.
Kittle has gone viral in the past for her gorgeous and innovative gameday looks, which include lots of thigh-high boots, personalized gear with her husband’s jersey number emblazoned on it, and tons of red touches for the 49’ers.
Now, the former college basketball player is pulling back the curtain about what goes into getting ready for gameday in a new interview.

‘It is so fun to do,’ Kittle told People about getting dressed up for her husband’s NFL games.
‘It’s probably the only day of the week that I actually dress up,’ she shared.
However, Kittle confessed that there is a lot of planning that goes into her outfits, especially the ones that are more unique.
She takes about a week to prepare her look for the big game – however, she tries to ‘accumulate’ and test-run certain things before the season even starts.
In particular, Kittle ‘loves’ finding vintage pieces, like sweatshirts and jackets, to wear.
‘The 49ers have really, really amazing things from the ’80s and their Super Bowl runs that are just iconic,’ Kittle told the outlet.
‘They don’t make that stuff like that anymore, so I try to just keep my eyes peeled, and whatever finds me, I’ll grab it and I’ll try to incorporate it into different outfits.’
Thankfully, though, Kittle doesn’t have to go through this alone.

Next week, the 49ers will take on The Chiefs – who they competed against for last year’s Super Bowl – for the first time this season
She gets some help from her fellow 49’ers WAGs like Olivia Culpo, who recently married running back Christian McCaffrey.
Kittle told People that a lot of them have a group chat.
‘We’ll send something and maybe someone will be like, “Oh, you should put these shoes and this bag with that,’ or something,”‘ she explained.
‘It’s collaborative. We’ll all still do our own thing. We’ll listen — but we might not do what the other one says.’
Next week, the 49ers will take on the Chiefs – who they competed against for last year’s Super Bowl – for the first time this season.
