Without a doubt, Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 has given one of the most explosive Reunions ever. However, inside sources have revealed what dramatic AF moments were cut from the big shebang, proving once again that WE NEED an uncut version of the MAFS Reunion!
Unfortunately, for reality TV punters, Channel Nine’s weekly squeeze for drama juice has closed up shop. I’m talking about the polarising show that was MAFS 2025.
However, a silver lining of the end of MAFS is that a bunch of “sources” *cough* castmates *cough* have come out of the woodwork to spill a bunch of behind-the-scenes tea.
Recently, Daily Mail Australia‘s MAFS spy Ali Daher has revealed that a shit tonne of red hot content was cut from the MAFS Reunion’s final edit.
And these alleged scenes are BLOODY juicy.
So, without further ado, here are some of the most explosive moments from the MAFS Reunion that didn’t make it to air.

Katie Johnstone and Ashleigh Ackerman formed an alliance
Kicking off with something hella wholesome, Daher reported that MAFS singles Katie Johnstone and Ashleigh Ackerman formed an alliance ahead of the big shebang.
To give you a refresher, both Katie and Ash were forced to leave the experiment early after their grooms ran away from the experiment.
According to Daily Mail Australia, Sierah Swepstone — who low-key became a villain during the Reunion — allegedly asked to meet with the duo to “get them on-side” for when she was going to confront Awhina Rutene.
“It was strategic — she needed their support to back up her version of events,” an insider told the publication.
The insider didn’t dish if the girls agreed to be support for Sierah. However, when the confrontation went down, it appeared that Katie followed Sierah when she left the group to decompress but didn’t back her up verbally when things got heated.
Billy Belcher and Dave Hand’s bromance breakup
Voyaging into spicier territory, it’s been reported that Billy Belcher and Dave Hand had a friendship breakdown during the reunion. While details of the tensions were not dished, an insider told the publication the bros had “a falling out over social media clout and friendship loyalty”.
“They were meant to announce a collab but ended up blocking each other instead,” the source dished.
This reported “breakdown” comes days after another insider revealed that the pair were no longer friends due to social media clout.
However, in response to the damning rumours, Billy claimed he and Dave were “tight”. But Dave said he was on a “different path” from his MAFS co-star.
Multiple MAFS Reunion meltdowns
Per the publication, “multiple” MAFS 2025 participants stormed out of the Reunion. However, none of them made the final cut.
“It was way messier in real life,” a production insider shared.
Ryan Donnelly reportedly brought a “dossier of receipts” to the Reunion
When Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice revealed their new relationship status to the cast, Ryan Donnelly (Jacqui’s ‘husband’) accused the pair of hooking up while he was still paired with Jacqui.
According to Daily Mail Australia, the self-proclaimed warrior groom brought physical print-outs of screen logs, screen shots and messages.
An insider told the publication that the “cast were in shock,” but the whole moment was nixed from the final edit.

Carina Mirabile made an off-camera apology to Awhina Rutene
Earlier in the season, Carina Mirabile apologised to Awhina Rutene at a Dinner Party after Paul Antoine revealed that she questioned her sister’s, Cleo Rutene, calibre after she found he previously dated her before MAFS.
Per the publication, it appears that Carina apologised for a second time, with sources claiming the fashionista bride was “devastated” by the comments she made.
“Carina was genuinely devastated,” the source told the publication.
“She cried. It was raw and honest.”
Billy Belcher tried to fake a romance with another bride
It’s been alleged that Perth-based groom Billy tried to fake a romance with Carina ahead of the reunion. However, the bride quickly shut down the stunt.
“She flat-out refused,” a source who claims to be friends with Carina dished.
“She told him she wasn’t about to play those games.”
The publication also reported that Billy rocked up to the Reunion with a box of popcorn. However, producers denied the stunt because the box had a cheeky brand on it.
Sierah Swepstone’s final confrontation
If you watched the Reunion Dinner Party, you might’ve noticed that Sierah Swepstone left the table earlier than her peers.
It’s now been revealed that Sierah reportedly had one final confrontation with Awhina before she dipped on the whole shindig.
“She left before Awhina could respond — totally one-sided,” an insider shared.
“It was like she wanted the last word and didn’t want to be challenged.”
The group turns on Clint Rice
It’s no secret that Clint was embroiled in controversy when he was at the Couples’ Retreat alongside his MAFS match, Lauren Hall.
To give you a refresher, Lauren got into it with fan-favourite Jamie Marinos after she called her co-stars “boganic”. Things reached boiling point when Lauren and Clint got into it with the cast, with Clint telling Jamie to “shut the fuck up”.
According to Daily Mail Australia, footage of Clint shading his castmates — which allegedly included a scene of him calling Jamie a “more” and others the c-bomb — was played at the Reunion which pissed a bunch of folks off.
Clint Rice and Ryan Donnelly buttheads
While we did get a taste of some bitterness between the duo at the Reunion Dinner Party, Clint and Ryan reportedly had more scraps than what was shown in the final edit.
Per the publication, Clint said some “never-level stuff” about Ryan. However, it was ultimately scrapped because of airtime.
