A man has been rushed to hospital after an explosion believed to have been caused by a barbeque fire struck an apartment in Sydney’s west
Emergency services were called to Meredith Street, in Bankstown, on Thursday after a man in his 30s reportedly fell from a window of a unit block.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman told Daily Mail Australia the man suffered serious burns to his arms, leg and face.

He was treated at the scene and was rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted NSW Police for comment.
