England ‘call-up uncapped player’ after spate of injury withdrawals for Nations League double-header against Greece and Republic of Ireland

Aston Villa striker Morgan Rogers has been handed a first England call-up after being drafted in amidst a catalogue of injuries to key stars, according to reports.

The 22-year-old was one of the surprise omissions from Lee Carsley’s final England squad after a brilliant start to the season with three Premier League strikes and impressing in the Champions League.

Now, Rogers has been handed his first senior England call-up and will join up with the rest of the national team at St Georges Park, as reported by The Athletic.
