Engineer Mahmoud Arafat, Secretary General of the Engineers Syndicate: The Syndicate is keen to celebrate the October victory… and a busy program to celebrate the fifty-first anniversary of the crossing
The General Syndicate of Engineers will organize next Saturday, October 26, 2024, a major celebration to commemorate Victories of the Glorious October War, at exactly five o’clock in the evening, in the union’s large meeting hall, in the presence of the head of the Engineers Syndicate, members of the office staff, the union council, and an elite group of public figures.
The celebration will include an open meeting with Major General Staff Dr. Samir Faraj – the expert. The military and strategic thinker also includes a dialogue session with a number of heroes of the armed forces who participated in the October War, namely Major General Engineer Hussein Masoud, Major General Staff Engineer Issam Abdel Halim, Major General Staff Engineer Mahmoud Metwally, and Major General Staff Engineer Muhammad Nader Abdel Wahab.
For his part, Engineer Mahmoud Hamed Arafat, Secretary-General of the Engineers Syndicate, stressed the Syndicate’s keenness to celebrate this great victory annually, honor the heroes of our armed forces, and highlight the heroism of the Egyptian people and army. And introducing engineers of all age groups, especially young ones, to the heroics of their fathers and grandfathers and reminding them of their sacrifices, which contributes to raising awareness and instilling the patriotic spirit among the younger generations of engineers.
As Arafat revealed, Regarding some details of the celebration programme, he said: “The dialogue sessions will include the showing of short documentary films about some of the rare battles and heroism witnessed in the war and the Battle of the Crossing.
