El-Shorbagy thanks President Sisi for renewing his confidence in him as head of the National Press Authority
The head of the National Press Authority, Engineer Abdel Sadiq Al-Shorbaji, expressed his thanks to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for renewing his confidence in him as head of the authority for the next four years, pledging to confront the challenges, pay attention to print journalism, and keep up with developments.
Al-Shorbaji directed his directive. – During a phone call with “Extra News” channel Satellite TV this evening, Monday – thanked the former members of the National Authority, saying, “They have made a great effort, and God willing, we will continue the journey with the new members.”
He pointed out that the Authority made tireless efforts. To advance electronic journalism through portals and websites, explaining that this interest was not limited only to the Arab press, but also included foreign newspapers, pointing out that there are four publications carried out by press institutions such as Al-Ahram Hebdo, Al-Ahram, Kelly, and others, and efforts have been made in this regard.
The head of the National Press Authority confirmed that there is interest in moving forward with the “mobile application.” affiliated with the National Press Authority to keep pace with technological developments in the world and use artificial intelligence in its development.
