Egypt was elected Chairman of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministerial Water Council for the years 2024 and 2025

Dr. Hani Sweilem, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, confirmed that Egypt has been elected head of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministerial Water Council for the years 2024 and 2025, marking participation.

 

In the "meetings “The sixteenth session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Water”, where the ministerial meeting was preceded by the meetings of the Technical Scientific Advisory Committee of the Arab Ministerial Water Council in Jordan, whose work extended over a period of three days, covering Discussing the action plan for the Arab water security strategy, cooperation in the field of exploitation of shared waters, and following up on the implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan with regard to water, in addition to the Arab initiative for the interconnection between water, energy and food in the Arab countries, with the participation of Dr. Arif Gharib, Head of the Nile Water Sector, and engineer Marwa Khattab. Director General of Hydrology in the Nile Water Sector and Engineer Mustafa Senussi, Director General of the Minister’s Office for Nile Water and International Water.
