Sherif Fathi began the session by expressing his happiness for his participation today in this symposium, which will be an opportunity to review the vision and most prominent aspects of the ministry’s work in light of the current strategy.
The minister spoke about the unique tourism diversity with which God has bestowed Egypt, including various tourist and archaeological components, a distinct geographical location, an ancient history, stunning beaches, deserts, and others.
He explained that based on this diversity came the Ministry’s vision, which is based on making Egypt the most diverse tourist destination in the world in terms of the diversity of products and styles. Tourism.
The Minister indicated that all promotional campaigns that will be implemented during the coming period will depend on presenting and highlighting this unique tourism diversity and marketing all tourism products in parallel, valuing the importance of using Electronic tourism marketing, especially through the use of artificial intelligence and its various tools and applications in the field of tourism, especially in tourism promotion and reaching specific targeted segments of tourists in different countries.
He explained There are already ready-made tourism products, and there are other products that are being developed to be ready to be included in the various tourism programs of tour operators.
The Minister stressed that there is continuous work and periodic meetings with Representatives of the Egyptian Federation of Tourism Chambers, the five tourism chambers, and professional partners from the private tourism sector to listen to their opinions and proposals and set priorities that contribute to the development of the tourism industry in Egypt.

He spoke about the Ministry’s keenness to continue developing all museums and archaeological sites and improving the quality of services provided therein, including the project to develop the Giza Pyramids area. He pointed out the establishment of recreational areas in the area for tourists, such as restaurants, cafes and bazaars, and that the exercise area will be allocated to be a place for animals (camels and horses) to park and work.
