Egypt is participating in the ministerial conference for the reconstruction of Syria in Brussels
Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zaid, Egypt’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, Luxembourg and NATO, presided over Egypt’s delegation participating in the ninth ministerial conference organized by the European Union for the Reconstruction of Syria, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Deirine, the European Supreme Actress for Security Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Callas, and the Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al -Shaibani, approximately 90 countries and international and regional organization to discuss the files of recovery and reconstruction in Syria.
& nbsp; To send a message of support to Syria during the important and critical transitional period it is going through, to emphasize the priority of resource sharpening for early recovery and reconstruction activities and projects, identifying priority sectors, and coordinating the efforts and contributions of international donors and regional donors. The brotherly Syrian people in peace, stability and a decent life after many years of suffering. And that the reconstruction is not just a process of rebuilding the infrastructure, but rather a restoration of hope and dignity and the achievement of national reconciliation between the various spectra of the Syrian people. From a million Syrians on its soil, it is another evidence of its solidarity with the brotherly Syrian people in its ordeal, calling on the donors community to contribute to providing immediate needs of Syrian societies in the host countries as an integral part of the recovery process in Syria. Ensuring its success and sustainability, the most important of which are the comprehensiveness of the political process, national property, providing regional support, international coordination, respect for regional sovereignty and safety for Syria, providing humanitarian support, ensuring a safe and dignified return of refugees and internally displaced persons. Good to sharpen resources to support reconstruction and recovery efforts in priority sectors, exchange visions on work paths, coordination between various international and regional actors, and confirm the international community standing next to Syria on the path of recovery to restore its normal position in its Arab and international incubator at the earliest opportunity on sound foundations.
