The Education Development Fund of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers announced the establishment of the “International Labor Market Observatory” unit, under the supervision and management of the Fund’s technical office, in order to provide Egyptian workers trained at the highest level for the international labor market.

Rasha Saad Sharaf, Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund, said that the observatory’s mission will be to study the suitability of education outcomes for the international labor market, through coordination between the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Education and Technical Education, and the Ministry of Labor, on the one hand, and the international labor market, on the other hand. She added – in the press release issued by the Fund – that the observatory will study the needs of the international labor market in coordination with the regulatory entities working in this field, and discuss providing market requirements. The international work consists of human cadres prepared and qualified with distinguished scientific qualifications in accordance with international standards.

She indicated that the Development Fund Education will coordinate with all concerned parties at home and abroad, in order to provide job opportunities, then qualify and prepare young people well before they travel to obtain the appropriate job, and this will be according to mechanisms determined by the Fund in coordination with those parties.
