Education: A series of workshops are held to prepare the matrix of training programs necessary to obtain the qualification certificate necessary for promotion
In light of the directives of Muhammad Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and under the supervision of Dr. Ayman Bahaa, Deputy Minister, the Professional Academy for Teachers held a series of workshops to prepare the matrix of training programs necessary to obtain the necessary competency certificate for promotion.
It included a series Workshops: Preparing the knowledge and skills matrix for teachers’ positions. The workshop methodology was based on the analysis of the binding standards for educational performance contained in the executive regulations of Law No. 155 of 2007, as amended by Law No. 93 of 2012 issued by Prime Minister’s Resolution No. 428 of 2013, as well as analyzing the job description cards approved by Ministerial Resolution No. 164 of 2016 to arrive at the matrix of knowledge and skills that must be available among occupants of teacher positions.
Experts from Al-Azhar, Cairo, and Ain Shams universities participated in the workshops, as well as experts from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation. (Naqa), the National Center for Educational Examinations and Evaluation, the National Center for Educational Research and Development, the Supreme Council of Al-Azhar, the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, the Central Administration for Teacher Affairs, the Central Administration for the Academy of Technical Education, and the Central Administration for Curriculum Development, represented by the advisors of basic academic subjects, in addition to the directors of General administrations of the Professional Academy for Teachers and members of the General Administration have the authority to advance. The results of the workshops were the completion of a matrix for the knowledge and skills of the jobs of teachers, a matrix of the knowledge and skills of the jobs of social and psychological workers, a matrix of the knowledge and skills of the jobs of technology specialists, a matrix of the knowledge and skills of the jobs of journalism and media specialists, and a matrix of the knowledge and skills of the jobs of librarians.
