Due to a spoiled meal, 12 people from one family were infected with suspected food poisoning in Assiut
Twelve people from one family were infected with suspected food poisoning after eating a home-cooked dinner this Sunday evening in the Arbaeen area in the West Assiut neighborhood.
Major General Wael Nassar, Assiut Security Director, received a notification from the Chief of the First Police Department. Assiut, a report was received from Al-Iman General Hospital about the arrival of Maryam Ahmed Salah, Farida Abdullah Salah, Abrar Alaa Muhammad, and Ahmed Alaa Muhammad. Fatima Abdullah Salah, Youssef Ahmed Salah, Abdullah Alaa Muhammad, Malika Ahmed Salah, Maryam Salah Morsi, Menna Alaa Muhammad, Dawla Salah Jalal, and Abdul Rahman Salah Musa, were ill as a result of eating a spoiled dinner in their home. First aid was performed and they were placed in hospital. Under observation in the hospital, a report on the incident has been prepared and is being presented to the prosecution.
