Despite being involved in a heated rap feud with Kendrick Lamar that all but ruined his reputation last year, it looks like Drake isn’t slowing down any time soon.
The Canadian rapper (real name Aubrey Graham) hopped off his private plane, red solo cup in hand, on January 9 into Melbourne prior to his first stop in Perth for his ‘Anita Max Win’ tour.

Drake, who is known for his affinity for gambling, showed off his $700k win at Crown Casino (as well as the luxe presidential suite he’s staying in) in various Instagram Posts and Stories.
Drake also booked out bougie French eatery Maison Batard for his entourage, before later hitting up Le Club — which is in the basement of the aforementioned restaurant — for a super-secret gig.

The event involved Drake singing karaoke until the wee hours of the morning on Friday, which included 100 guests as well as 30 members of his exclusive entourage and security.
Among those invited included 25 Miss Universe contestants, Maison Batard owner Chris Lucas (along with his wife and daughters), and Bianca Roccisano among others.

When contacted by the Herald Sun for comment, Lucas stated that he was “sworn to secrecy”.
“While I can’t confirm or deny a private concert took place, this is what Melbourne is all about — creating some of the best world class spaces that people can come to from all over the world.”

The Anita Max Win tour will take the rapper from Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Sydney again before finishing up in New Zealand’s Auckland from February 4 to March 16.
The tour sees Drake return back to our shores after seven years.
It also come almost right off the heels of Drake’s infamous beef with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar last year, with the latter ending up labelling Drake as a “certified pedophile” and a “sick man”.
The pair exchanged multiple diss tracks against the other beginning in March 2024, with Kendrick being named winner of the feud within the zeitgeist. (You just had to be there when he dropped “Meet the Grahams” TWENTY MINUTES after Drake dropped “Family Matters”… Fucking hell!!)
Drake would later sue his own label UMG, Universal Music Group, for promoting Kendrick’s “Not Like Us”.
