Donald Trump and Jill Biden go head to head again after flirty Notre Dame exchange set the internet ablaze

President Donald Trump and former first lady Jill Biden will reignite their rivalry at the Super Bowl on Sunday when they are each rooting for different teams to win.

Trump is a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and has repeatedly praised quarterback Patrick Mahomes, calling him a ‘winner,’ which is one of Trump’s biggest compliments.

Biden, who was born in Philadelphia, will be there to cheer on the Eagles.

It’s unclear if she and Trump will see each other or interact during the game. They are expected to sit in different boxes at the Superdome in New Orleans.

‘No politics. She is there to cheer the Eagles to victory,’ a source close to the former first lady said of her attendance.

Trump and Biden set the internet on fire in December when they attended the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

At that point Joe Biden had dropped out of the presidential race and Trump had defeated his hand-picked successor Kamala Harris.

Jill Biden was there representing then-President Biden and Trump was there as the incoming leader.

The duo whispered to one another and Biden smiled broadly at Trump as he chatted to her in what appeared to be a flirty exchange.

The internet went wild and social media widely speculated on what they discussed.

Trump even posted a photo on social media of his interaction her, adding an advertisement for his line of $199 perfumes and colognes with a tagline that read: ‘A fragrance your enemies can’t resist.’

He also re-posted a picture of Biden looking at him that had been given a heart-eye emoji and the caption: ‘Get you someone who looks at you like Jill looks at Trump.’

Trump added his own comment, writing: ‘Jill was very nice. A great conversation! DJT.’

The former first lady clarified she had been teasing Trump, telling the Washington Post what happened.

‘I had a good meeting with your husband in the Oval Office,’ Trump said to her, according to Jill Biden.

‘Yes,’ Jill said she told him: ‘Because you’re both talkers.’

She was highly critical of Trump on the campaign trail, saying he made her husband Joe ‘look bad.’

Trump often referred to Joe Biden as mentally incompetent and nicknamed him ‘Sleepy Joe.’

But their political rivalry will turn into a sports clash on Sunday.

The president has not publicly said which team he thinks will win but he’s made it clear he has a favorite.

‘I don’t want to say, but there’s a certain quarterback that seems to be a pretty good winner,’ he told reporters in the Oval Office when asked who he was rooting for, indicating he was referring to the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes was just as complimentary.

‘It’s cool to hear that he’s seen me play football and respects the game that I play,’ Mahomes told reporters of the president.

Trump also congratulated Mahomes and Brittany on their new baby and said he’d see them at the Super Bowl.

‘Congratulations to the Chiefs GREAT Quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, and his very beautiful and BRILLIANT wife, Brittany, on the birth of their new baby daughter, Golden Raye. This is what I call a baby with great genes, both mother and father. It’s happy times in the wonderful Mahomes family. See you all on Sunday!,’ the president wrote on Truth Social on Thursday.

The couple had a daughter at the end of January.

Brittany was believed to support Trump in the 2024 election as she liked some of his posts on social media.

Also on hand at Sunday’s game, will be Taylor Swift, who is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Swift endorsed Trump’s presidential rival Kamala Harris but is close to Brittany Mahomes.

Kelce said he’s excited the president will be there.

‘That’s awesome. It’s a great honor, I think you know, no matter who the president is. I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there — it’s the best country in the world — and that’s pretty cool,’ he told reporters.

The Super Bowl is expected to draw several A-list celebrities, including Timothée Chalamet, Paul Rudd (a Chiefs fan), Bradley Cooper (an Eagles fan), and Jason Sudeikis (a Chiefs fan).

Speaker Mike Johnson said he’ll join Trump in the president’s box for the game. Kendrick Lamar is performing at the halftime show.

Jill Biden and grandson Hunter – the son of the late Beau Biden – also attended the 2023 Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, where they watched the Chiefs narrowly defeat the Eagles.

Former President Joe Biden will not be in attendance at Sunday’s game.
