Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler had his $100,000 watch stolen from him while watching a horse race at Santa Anita Park in the Los Angeles suburb Arcadia.
Buehler’s representatives told TMZ about the incident which happened on September 27 while the Dodgers prepared for the postseason.
According to his camp, the seven-year veteran and his wife, McKenzie, were attending a race at the camp when he was ‘unknowingly the victim of a snatch and grab robbery of his watch.’
‘The incident was reported to police and is currently under investigation,’ Buehler’s representatives said in a statement, per TMZ. ‘We are grateful Walker and McKenzie were not harmed and Walker is focused on the playoffs.’
Cops also told the outlet that there were three incidents of grand theft at the race track that day. The authorities did not reveal the names of the victims but said one arrest was made related to the robberies.

To add salt to the Dodgers’ rough start to the postseason, Buehler’s extravagant timepiece was ripped off his wrist.
According to ABC 7, a mob surrounded Walker and McKenzie when somebody unbuttoned his shirt sleeve and took the watch.
Neither the Arcadia Police nor the Dodgers are yet to comment on the incident.
The Kentucky native and avid horse racing fan will likely start in Game 3 of the Dodgers’ series against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday.
Los Angeles won Game 1, 7-5, before getting blown out by their Southern California rivals in Game 2, 10-2.
Buehler started in all 16 of his appearances this season and averaged a 5.38 ERA as the team finished the regular season with a 98-64 record on top of the National League West.
