Disney parents’ shocking child neglect caught on camera at ‘happiest place on Earth’

A shocking video posted to TikTok showed the moment a couple abandoned their child to go on a ride at Disneyland.

TikTok user @keesha4rank, a mom of three, said she was at the park in California when she noticed an unattended stroller parked behind a wall last month.

She was stunned when she suddenly saw movement beneath a Spider-Man blanket draped over the stroller.

‘Why would somebody leave their baby in the stroller while they went to get on the ride,’ the woman said in the February 18 video, before panning over to stroller behind her. ‘There is a baby in there. Somebody’s kid is in there.’

She went on to claim that the child’s parents had gone on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride, which was right across the walkway seem in the video.

She added that one of the fathers in her vicinity thought it would be a good idea to ‘put a chair there to block that side off.’

The woman explained in the comments that she and others reported the abandoned child to an employee, who intervened and checked on the baby.

It was unclear what happened to the baby or its parents, with the witness reporting that no police were involved at the time of filming.

The Guardians of the Galaxy ride has a 40-inch height requirement, but even if the child was too small to go on, it’s one of the attractions that offers the Rider Switch option.

Parents with children can switch off with one another if they use this option. One parent will go on the ride while the other waits with the child. The one who waits first does not have to go to the back of the line.

Most rides at Disneyland have this Rider Switch option, according to the amusement park’s website.

The video of the abandoned child got nearly a million views and over 3,000 comments.

Commenters were shocked at that someone would leave their child in the sun for as long as they could have.

‘Guardians is usually like 60 to 80 minute wait also. So they were planning on leaving that baby for at least over an hour,’ one person wrote.

‘That’s absolutely insane, I don’t care how “safe” Disney is, I would never leave my children unattended,’ another person wrote.

‘I wouldn’t even let my 11 yr old use the bathroom by himself there, my mouth is dropped…like what!!’ a third commented.

DailyMail.com approached Disney for comment.
