Director of the Recruitment Department: Convoys in the governorates to complete recruitment procedures for the elderly and people of determination
Major General Mohamed Sobhi Muhanna, Director of the Recruitment and Mobilization Department, said that in implementation of the directives of the General Command of the Armed Forces, to provide all conscription facilities to all the people of the country, especially the elderly and people of determination, it was decided that the conscription management committees would move between all the governorates, and this week we are in the governorate. He added in statements to Rosalyossef: “All these procedures are carried out in coordination between the governorate, the executive agencies, and the Ministries of Social Solidarity and Youth, with the aim of gathering young people of determination, for them to be examined.” And completing the conscription procedures for them, issuing the conscription treatment certificate, in addition to holding a ceremony to hand over the certificates, in addition to distributing some symbolic gifts from the armed forces, in order to show solidarity with them and support them psychologically and morally, in implementation of the directives of the Commander-in-Chief and Minister of Defense and Military Production, where all procedures are completed without any fees. ;.
The Director of the Recruitment and Mobilization Department continued:” Our parents are elderly people who also need conscription treatment certificates in some cases to obtain a passport. Our role is to complete the documents for him and settle his conscription status. We save the effort and time to go to the conscription area, where we work to complete the procedures and determine for him the day on which he receives his certificate. If he is unable to attend, we will send it to his place of residence, in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Defense and Military Production. He explained that in some cases, medical and recruitment committees are directed to them in their locations, and the treatment is completed on the same day and the certificate is handed over to him.
He continued: “ We intensified our efforts in the months of September, October and November to cover most of the governorates. From the end of September until the beginning of October of this year, we were in North and South Sinai, Marsa Matrouh, Ismailia and Sharqia, and from the beginning of November we were present in the governorates of Port Said and Menoufia, and in the weeks Next, we will go to the governorates of Beni Suef and Mansoura, and we will conclude at Cairo University,” noting that “sometimes we may visit one governorate more than once, and if there are only 20 people in one place, a recruitment convoy will be directed to them.”
