Four WWE superstars are stepping outside the squared circle and into the dome. Dropout has released the first trailer for “Dimension 20: Titan Takeover,” a long-rumored crossover season featuring professional wrestlers from the WWE.
Bayley, Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston will enter the dome for a five-part side quest guided by D20’s intrepid game master, Brennan Lee Mulligan. The new season will premiere April 2, just three short weeks away from Wrestlemania.
According to a press release, the season is set in ancient Athens, and features the newly minted “righteous wrestlers” as they roll the dice and fight for glory in the “fabled” Titan Takedown, a “wrestling event of epic proportions.”
Bayley will play minotaur barbarian Thea Kitterloo, while Chelsea Green will bring tabaxi rogue Tabatha to life. Long-time Dungeons and Dragons fan Xavier Woods plays monk Julia Mortem, while his New Day stablemate Kofi Kingston will play King Adonis Thanaformus.
Though “Dimension 20” has previously featured guest players from other actual play shows like “Critical Role” and “The Adventure Zone,” “Titan Takeover” marks the first time Dropout has featured professional athletes as players in the dome.
“Titan Takeover” follows in the footsteps of Dimension 20’s first series to feature non-DND players, “Dungeons and Drag Queens,” which just concluded its second season.
“Dimension 20: Titan Takeover” will premiere April 2 exclusively on Dropout, followed by new episodes dropping every Wednesday for four weeks. WWE Raw (featuring Bayley, Woods, and Kingston) airs Mondays on Netflix, while WWE Smackdown (featuring Green) airs Fridays on the USA Network.
