Details of the meeting of the Dean Selection Committee of the Faculty of Nursing, Suez Canal University

Suez Canal University held a number of personal interviews for candidates to fill the position of Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, in implementation of the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, regarding the restructuring of the relevant committees to nominate deans of colleges and institutes, organizing their work, procedures and conditions for nomination, and comparison criteria.

A number of special conditions have been set for the formation of university leadership selection committees, the method of their formation, who the members are, and the conditions for running for the position of college deans.

Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, received members of the committee for selecting the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing this morning, Thursday, November 21.

Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, announced the formation of the committee responsible for nominating applicants for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, which came as follows:
Two members are nominated by prominent scholars known for their competence and scientific integrity, and two members are nominated by the relevant university council with experience in the field of university education, including the university president.

The committee representing the university as a member of the committee included:
Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, Dr. Sami Hashem, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Education, Chairman of the Education Committee of the House of Representatives and former Vice President of the University, as a regular member, and Dr. Ibrahim Nagy, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and former Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, as an alternate member.

While the Supreme Council of Universities Committee included:
Dr. Shadia Abdel Qader Hassan, Cairo University – a primary member – Dr. Ahmed Othman, Alexandria University – a primary member – and Dr. Maha Mohamed Adel, Alexandria University – a reserve member.

As for the representatives of the Faculty of Nursing in the membership of the committee, it included Dr. Ebadi Al-Qadi, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at Suez Canal University and its former Dean – a primary member – and Dr. Yasser Al-Wazir, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University – as a reserve member.
