Deputy Minister of Tourism: Egypt and India have close historical relations

 Dr. Youmna Al-Bahar, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, confirmed that Egypt and India are two ancient and ancient civilizations in the world and are linked by close historical relations… highlighting the efforts made by the two countries to advance tourism cooperation.

This came in the speech delivered by Deputy Minister The Minister of Tourism during an event to promote Indian tourism organized by the Embassy of India in Cairo this Thursday evening, in the presence of a number of officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and more than 100 representatives of airlines, tourism agencies and social media influencers. 

 

Al-Bahar also highlighted the distinguished relations between the two countries currently, which have been promoted to the level of strategic relations. With diversity and ancient civilization…noting that India enjoys cultural richness and offers multiple forms of tourism, including for Egyptians. 

 

The Deputy Minister of Tourism expressed her happiness to participate in the event Today, which comes within the framework of enhancing tourism cooperation between the two sides… reviewing the memorandums of understanding signed between the two sides in the tourism sector.

 

For her part… C. Shushma, Charge d’Affairs of the Embassy of India, confirmed that… Her country’s government is interested in promoting tourism relations between the two countries, noting that the numbers of tourist flows between the two countries do not live up to the enormous tourism potential of Egypt and India.

 

She also confirmed that work is currently being done to increase Direct flights between Egypt and India are in addition to those currently available, as there are direct Cairo-Delhi and Cairo-Mumbai flights.

 

The event – which began with the playing of the national anthems of Egypt and India – included a performance. For the most important tourist areas and diversity in India as a tourist destination that welcomes the world through a rich mix of diverse cuisine, arts and crafts, music, nature, landscapes, tribes, history and adventure sports.
