Dr. Manal Awad confirmed that the Ministry plays an important and vital role in managing the system’s file. Integrated management of municipal solid waste at the level of ongoing infrastructure programs at the governorate level, where the total daily generation generated during the last period reached about 6 million tons from 54 sites, and 500 thousand tons are being raised during the next phase, bringing the total to 6.5 million tons, historical accumulations.
