The activities of the third day of the Focus Theater Festival began in its second session with a theatrical performance by female students of the College of Early Childhood Education entitled “Batoul”, whose events take place in one of the villages of Upper Egypt and its various stories of girls, and what is related to poverty and submission to the myths and legends of magic, the customs of underage marriage, and the lack of freedom for women. In choosing, leaving the house, etc., it aims to shed light on women’s rights in poor villages in Upper Egypt.

While the students of the College of Commerce presented the theatrical performance “Crazy in the Box,” written by Lenin Al-Ramli, directed by the student Muhammad Salam, whose events revolve around a psychiatrist in a psychiatric hospital exploring case stories by writing down each patient’s reason for his illness on a piece of paper. The show aims to convey the message that The psychiatric hospital is not for psychiatric patients, but for victims of psychiatric patients, and there are victims of them at home and abroad.

The students of the College of Pharmacy presented the theatrical performance “The Maze”, written by Ali Othman and directed by the student Mazen Mahmoud. The events of the text revolve around a group of individuals lost in a place and at a certain time. They meet a person and a conflict begins between them and this person called the fortune teller, who knows the way out, but He does not tell them about it to mislead them further, and the events of the show continue until they finally defeat him, but they fall into the hands of a new fortune teller; The characters enter an endless maze to search for a way out, and the show aims to narrate some of the problems that young people fall into because of their obsession.
“Hide and Seek” is a performance for students of the College of Arts, concluding the theatrical performances on the third day of the Focala Festival in its second session.
The theatrical performances concluded on the third day of the Focala Theater Festival with a show for students of the College of Arts entitled “Hide and Seek,” written by Muhammad Khamis and directed by the student Abdullah Abdul Hakim. It is worth noting that Damanhour University pays great attention to student activities in general and theatrical activity in particular due to its great role in discovering young talents, embracing them and supporting their abilities, and is keen to present purposeful and distinguished theatrical performances that contribute to elevating students’ ideas and tastes so that they become more capable of contributing strongly to enlightenment.
